Best AI mockup tools for Etsy and print-on-demand sellers
A mockup is the product photo you make without making the product. You upload your design, pick a scene (a folded tee, a mug on a desk, a framed print on a wall) and download a listing-ready image. Two things matter most for Etsy sellers: whether the plan allows commercial use, and how many images you can make at once.

Before you pick one
- Check the commercial-use rule before you start. Some free plans (for example Mockey's free plan and Kittl's free plan) are marked personal use only on the tool's own pricing page.
- If your product photos show an AI-generated person, read our Etsy AI rules tracker — a New York disclosure law about AI 'synthetic performers' in ads took effect on June 9, 2026.
- Etsy's Seller Policy asks for your own photos, with limited exceptions for items made with a production partner. Read Etsy's listing image rules before you rely only on mockups.
