Etsy fee calculator for 2026.

Listing fee: $0.20

Etsy charges a listing fee of 0.20 USD for each item that you list, whether or not it sells. Listings expire after four months, and renewing costs another $0.20. There's no fee to edit a listing. If a listing has more than one in stock, Etsy renews it automatically at $0.20 after each item sells (Etsy Fees & Payments Policy). The calculator counts $0.20 for each item in the order.

Transaction fee: 6.5%, including shipping

When you sell, Etsy charges a transaction fee of 6.5% of the price you display for each listing plus the amount you charge for delivery and gift wrapping. If you sell from the US, it doesn't apply to sales tax. Paid personalization counts as part of the item price (Etsy Fees & Payments Policy). So "free shipping" with a higher price and a lower price plus shipping cost you the same transaction fee.

Payment processing: 3% + $0.25 in the US

Every Etsy Payments order also pays a processing fee, charged on the gross order amount, including shipping and tax. The rate depends on where your bank account is. For the United States it's 3% + $0.25 USD; for example, Canada (domestic orders and orders from the US) is 3% + 0.25 CAD and the UK is 4% + 0.20 GBP (Etsy Help, Etsy Payments Policy). That's why the calculator lets you change both numbers.

Offsite Ads: 15% or 12%, up to $100

If a buyer clicks one of Etsy's ads on another site and buys from your shop within 30 days, you pay an Offsite Ads fee on that order. It's 15% if your shop has always made under $10,000 in any 365 days (you can opt out), or 12% once you've passed $10,000 (then you can't opt out). The fee will never exceed $100 USD per order (Etsy Help). You don't pay anything if nobody buys.

Share & Save: 0% transaction fee until Jan 4, 2027

Share & Save gives you trackable links to your own shop. Normally Etsy refunds 4% of the 6.5% transaction fee on orders that come through them. For the holidays, Etsy refunds the full 6.5% on eligible orders completed between Oct 20, 2026 and Jan 4, 2027 (9 AM Eastern), when the buyer also clicked your link in that period. Existing members get it automatically, and you can join free in Shop Manager. Listing, processing and other fees still apply, and an order that gets attributed to an Offsite Ad can lose the refund and pay the ad fee instead (Value Added Resource).
